Rory McIlroy’s Car Collection – One Fit For A Masters Winner
by Marsh Finance on Apr 16, 2025 2:14:42 PM
Rory McIlroy joined an exclusive club on Sunday 13th March 2025, after his Masters win placed him amongst only five other golfers to complete a career Grand Slam (winning all the major golfing honours). His win captured attention across the world, but many don’t know that he has a fantastic car collection. Rory has great taste, his fleet include everything from day-to-day cruisers to one-off speedsters, and we’re here to take a look at all of them.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
Starting strong, the F12 Berlinetta first hit the roads in 2012. The car shares similarities with the Ferrari FF, released the year earlier, with a shortened curved back. The F12 Berlinetta has a longer front, though, and packs plenty more punch. A stunning car that still turns heads 13 years later, the F12 can produce up to 730bhp with a top speed of around 200mph. A ridiculous speed for a car that has 4 seats and decent boot space. The F12 Berlinetta has become somewhat of an outlier in the Ferrari collection, which explains why the newly crowned Masters champion has held on to his for so long.
A used Ferrari F12 Berlinetta comes in around the £160,000 mark, a steep fee that shows the quality of the car all these years on.

Ferrari F430
A popular car of its time, the F430 is slightly dated now but still provides solid performance and iconic Ferrari contours. Produced from 2004 to 2010, the F430 came in both a 2-door hardtop and 2-door convertible and was the predecessor to the iconic Ferrari 458. A good car of its time, the F430 had a V8 engine and could reach 60mph in 3.7 seconds. A nippy car that still has the potential to turn heads today, Rory McIlroy clearly holds some sentiment to his model, explaining its place in his car collection.
A used Ferrari F430 will cost around £65,000 to £70,000.

BMW i8
A revolutionary car that still holds its own today, the i8 is a stunning symbol of modern driving. First hitting the market in 2014, the i8 immediately stood out for its futuristic look and electric motor, which set it apart from early electric trendsetters. The i8 is still eye-catching today and has a clean interior that you’d expect from any BMW. McIlroy has been pictured in his i8 on many occasions, giving some insight into how highly he rates the car.
With production ending in 2020, your only option is a used model, which can cost between £ 27,000 and £50,000, depending on the specification.

Range Rover Sport
The Range Rover Sport has been one of the most luxurious SUVs on the market for many years, and it’s no surprise McIlroy has one in his collection. A great day-to-day car that’s fitting of a champion, the Range Rover Sport helps you cruise at ease with comfortable seating and lavish interiors that elevate your driving experience. With plenty of boot space, there’s room for McIlroy’s golf clubs, too! A car with tinted windows and a lofted seating position also helps McIlroy drive with relative privacy, something desperately needed after his latest win that captured world attention.
If you were looking to get your hands on a Range Rover Sport, new models start from £74,000, with older used models coming in below this mark.

Aston Martin DB11
The iconic DB range has ruled the roads for decades, from James Bond to modern versions that keep up with the times. The DB11 has a great combination of modern features and that classic Aston look. Reaching 0-60mph in 4 seconds, the DB11 is less about the burst of speed and more about the luxury ride and feel. Driving an Aston Martin is a sign of class, something that McIlroy exudes on the golf course.
A new Aston Martin DB11 costs between £ 155,000 and £172,000, a lofty price that perhaps only a professional athlete could afford.
A used model is more affordable, although it still comes in at a whopping £65,000.

Lamborghini Aventador
A great car that turns heads wherever it goes, the Aventador is loud and different, and has commanded respect on roads since its birth in 2012. With sharp edges and vibrant lining, the Aventador is colourful and charismatic. Its engines can reach 680 bhp, with a fantastic noise that can be heard street blocks away.
For McIlroy, the Lamborghini Aventador is a chance to be bold and outlandish whilst enjoying an exhilarating ride.
The Aventador ended production in 2022, meaning your only option is a used model. Saying that, these cars can reach up to £215,000, making it one of the most expensive cars in Rory McIlroy’s collection.
Concluding – The 18th Hole
Rory McIlroy is on top of the world at the moment, and his car collection isn’t too bad either. Luxury is the word that comes to mind when you think of his car options, and with his love for cars it would be no surprise if he adds to this with some other great models in future.
Is a new car on your mind? While you may not be able to get your hands on Rory’s collection, there are plenty of fantastic used options that provide fantastic value and performance.
