A five-seater electric SUV, the Skoda Epiq has been hailed as a new era of Skoda design. With a fresh exterior and curved features that make the Epiq stand out in a modern space, the all-new electric SUV has plenty to offer. With a maximum range of 250 miles and fast charging available, you won’t have to face battery issues when you’re out on the road. A slick exterior is matched by a fresh, modern interior with plenty of autonomous driving features, making the Epiq one to look out for in 2025. A Skoda Epiq is predicted to start from around £16,500, a fair price for a great SUV.
A new sports car in the MG range, the Cyberster has a streamlined look and design, although slightly clunky around the boot. A soft top roof allows the Cyberster to transition into a convertible, but the soft top does reduce soundproofing when driving on the motorway. An electric option, this car has plenty of off-the-line speed. With 496HP and a 3.2 second – 5 second 0-60mph time, the Cyberster is quick and efficient. A two-seater model, the Cyberster is truly a classic sports car, with a modern approach to fuel. The car has lots of tech to offer, with lane assist and blind spot detection, coupled with adaptive cruise control. Prices start from £54,000 and can reach upwards of £59,000.
Electric has come to Range Rover, with the EV range set to hit the road in 2025. Your EV options include the SE, HSE, Autobiography and SV. Prices range between each model, and you could pay anywhere from £102,000 to £161,000. The EV range doesn’t re-invent the wheel and only adds rounder, smoother edges that push this EV range into the modern space. Unfortunately, this is just about all we know about the new EVs, with Range Rover keeping tight-lipped about their new cars. Keep an eye on this range though, as more is set to come out in 2025.
Another EV on the list, the Lotus Emeya is seen as a luxury option in this list. With a fantastic cabin design and interior lighting that gives the car a futuristic feel, the Emeya is a solid rival to Mercedes and BMWs, and the price reflects this. Prices range from £90,000 to £130,000, with which you can expect 300 – 380 miles of range and a 0-62mph time of 2.8 seconds – 4.1 seconds. With a similar exterior style to the Porsche Taycan but with a slightly different front that resembles more of a sports car, the Emeya is easy on the eye both inside and out.
Another model in the e-Tron range, the A6 is slightly smaller than the GT e-Tron, although it still has large boot space and a sizeable interior dashboard. This compact version of the GT performs well aerodynamically, which in turn reduces how much charge the car uses, allowing you to stretch out your car battery. With an electric motor, the A6 e-Tron reaches 62mph in seven seconds, a relatively low figure on this list. This five-door option will set you back anywhere from £62,000 to £98,000, depending on the model you choose.
Last on this list is the Kia K4, a compact sedan with a fresh new Kia look. A stylish but boxy car that reaches up to 190HP, the K4 is relatively unspectacular but a great day-to-day car. The interior is modern, with leather seating and clean balances of colours on the seating. The K4 lacks the elegance of the Emeya or other cars on this list but makes up for it in practicality and price. A K4 will set you back between £20,000 and £27,000, making it the cheapest option in this list. This price doesn’t leave you wanting in tech, with a phone app connection that allows you to defrost from your phone, saving you precious minutes in the morning!
